Steam wants polished copy, TikTok wants hooks, Reddit wants authenticity, X wants daily posts. Rewriting one update five ways eats your dev time.
Wishlists come from showing up week after week. That's the first thing to slip when you're fixing bugs.
Your devlog and patch notes are full of story. DevlogDrop turns them into posts so you can get back to building.
One input from you. Four ready-to-edit outputs, every week.
A refreshed short description and an update/announcement post written around what's new.
Hook, beats, on-screen text, and a shot list built from your clips.
5–7 X posts plus Reddit drafts tailored to the subreddits you name.
A tidy ~300-word devlog for Steam, itch.io, or your blog.
This is an illustrative example. Mossbound Ferry is a made-up game invented for this page, not a real customer. Input: "Added fog + lanterns, 4 new passengers, raft upgrades."
SHORT DESCRIPTION Ferry lost souls across a flooded, overgrown world. Patch your raft, chart the fog, and choose who reaches the far shore in this cozy-melancholy river management game. ABOUT THIS UPDATE: "The Fog Update" • Fog banks now roll in at dusk. Lanterns reveal hidden channels • 4 new passengers with branching stories • Raft upgrades: reed sail, moss hull, bell of calling
SCRIPT 1 — "The fog ate my raft" (15–20s) HOOK (0–2s): Raft drifting into thick fog. Text: "I added fog to my game and immediately regretted it" BEAT (2–10s): Lantern lights, a hidden channel appears. VO: "...until I realized lanterns could reveal secret routes." PAYOFF (10–18s): Passenger reaches the shore, soft chime. Text: "Mossbound Ferry · wishlist on Steam" SHOTS: 1) wide fog roll-in 2) lantern close-up 3) channel reveal 4) shore arrival SCRIPT 2 — "Rating my passengers' worst decisions" SCRIPT 3 — "1 year of my raft, from cube to moss hull"
MON: The fog update is in. Lanterns now reveal hidden river channels, and getting lost is half the fun. [clip: fog roll-in] TUE: Before / after: our raft, month 1 vs. now 🛶 [2 images] WED: Which passenger would you ferry first? A) the cartographer B) the drowned bell-ringer C) the goose THU: Small dev thing I love: the bell of calling slightly changes pitch depending on how foggy it is. FRI: Wishlists genuinely help a tiny team like ours. If fog + boats + sad ghosts is your thing → [Steam link] REDDIT (r/IndieDev, check self-promo rules first) Title: "I added fog to my river game and it accidentally became the best mechanic" Body: short story of the design change + GIF + one question for feedback. Link in comments only if allowed.
DEVLOG #14: Into the Fog This week we finally shipped fog. It started as a mood effect and turned into a navigation mechanic: at dusk, fog banks roll in and your lantern becomes the only way to find the hidden channels... (~300 words, with 2 suggested GIFs and a closing wishlist ask)

Yes. Every pack is fact-checked against your Steam page (features, dates, prices, platforms) and reviewed by a human before delivery. If we can't verify something, we leave a [bracket] for you to fill in instead of guessing. Packs are written with the help of AI tools; you always get drafts to edit and approve, and nothing is ever posted to your accounts on your behalf.
Whatever you already have: a devlog draft, patch/build notes, a changelog, a few clips or screenshots, or a rough voice-memo transcript. A few sentences about what changed this week is enough to start.
Steam page copy (short description plus an 'about this game' update), 3 TikTok/YouTube Shorts scripts with hooks and shot lists, a week of X posts and Reddit post drafts, and a short devlog write-up you can post on Steam, itch.io, or your blog.
No. DevlogDrop delivers copy you post yourself. We never ask for your social, Steam, or itch.io login.
The sample pack is free, once per game. Weekly is $23/month and Pro is $63/month during our launch sale (20% off the regular $29 and $79, through Nov 30, 2026). The one-off Launch-Week Pack is $149, or $99 for our first 5 founding buyers. Checkout is handled securely by Stripe.
We aim to deliver sample packs within a few days during this early phase. We'll email you if it's going to take longer.
Send examples of posts you like and words you never use. Packs follow your game's tone, and you can request edits.
Reddit drafts are written for the subreddit you name and flag self-promotion rules to check. Always read each community's rules before posting.
